…but still in awe over the flugtag alley shoot. I have never been a part of something that makes crazy downtown Chicago night-people stop, whip out camera phones and laugh hysterically as they shoot the scene on their mobiles. I mean… we DID look absolutely ridiculous and you will NEVER find me in that alley again, but combine looking like a total hooker with mobsters and a camera crew (ok, 1 dude with still camera, 1 dude with video camera, and tiny dude with giant boom…) and it doesn’t look AS trashy… (right?!).

Speaking of things I have never done… have also never walked down south Michigan in “dirty cop” unitard with dangly lemming cuffs and fishnets (ok, we tried to say “hey, haha, isn’t this hilarious” with our eyes by adding sweat pants and flip flops, but I think that may have made it worse, walking around with DR, looking like our pimp right after we had done god knows what before heading back to the screet). That whole “first time for everything” saying doesn’t belong here, as there is also sometimes NOT a time for certain things.

BUT rumor has it we used an alley that both Batman (Christian Bale… dah) & Prison Break (uhhh…. Lincoln? Yes please!) have usedto shoot before. Makes sense, since the staff came out and were not shocked AT ALL to see two “mobsters” and two “skankster police ladies” running around pretend shooting each other with water guns and fake tommy guns, diving from mini-staircases onto the top of their dumpsters. In fact, one of the staffers - of I don’t know what establishment - even provided some helpful advice… “these dumpsters won’t hold a lot of weight, so if you are going to jump on them, just be careful.”

Ummm… how do you know that, or… thanks?

Home, just long enough to change into skanky cop gear & head downtown for a Red Bull shoot.

Video shoot in “an alley” near the Art Institute. Wonder if they sent location scouts out to find “mob-esque” alleys… or if we will run into the actual mob during the shoot… HMMM…

LNR & I are on a mission to wine-up before donning our ‘fits, complete with “lemming handcuffs” and buttons that don’t exactly button. Ick.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can’t meet anyone decent enough that you want to get to know better. Getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over because you cannot seem to make a decision. You worry about loans, money, the future, and making a life for yourself… and while winning the race would be great, right now you’d just like to be a contender. What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out. And really, this is an acknowledment that you are not alone in this….. “

PRsquared and I have a tumultuous history. And literally… though I am not AS plugged into the PR world as I probably should be… I know zero people who use this/follow it as it is, and not just what the mainstreams write/report about it. We are acting like dinosaurs.
